Issac Christopher DeGenova, 17, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died June 12, 2022, as the result of an auto accident.

He was born June 10, 2005, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Johanna C. DeGenova and Christopher R. DeGenova.

Issac recently completed his sophomore year at Union Local High School. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed running, riding motorcycles, and playing video games with his friends. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved watching and talking football. Issac was far older than his years would imply. He was a compassionate young man, who cared about those he loved. We know that he is in heaven with his Pappy Ray.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond DeGenova.

Issac is survived by his parents, Chris and Johanna; a sister, Isabella Street; grandparents, Paul and Carol Baker and Jean DeGenova (Pete) Zaccagnini; a great grandmother, Alice Ann Hoffman; aunts and uncles, Lisa Yoho, John and Mary DeGenova, Maria and Justin Holmes, Sara and Garon Smith, Kyle Baker and Amy Baker; and several cousins.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
