Lodge, Irma Louise Gillingham, 89, of Bannock, Ohio, died June 12, 2010 in Cumberland Pointe Care Center, St. Clairsville.
She was born September 10, 1920 in Fern, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John and Della Frederick Gillingham.
Irma was a graduate of Flushing High School and attended West Liberty College. She married H. Barricklow Lodge in 1942. She loved and served the Lord faithfully as a long term member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville with many years of service. She held weekly Bible study and prayer meetings in her home and was an avid gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Barricklow Lodge in 1984; 3 brothers, John, Weldon and Norman Gillingham; and 2 sisters, Theresa Gillingham and Leathia Berdine.
Surviving are her children, Rev. Dr. John H. Lodge (Mary Emma) of Leesburg, Florida, Linda L. Long (Rev. Dr. Stephen) of Ashtabula, Ohio and Rev. Arthur L. Lodge (Mary Elizabeth) of Paris, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Rebekah, Sarah, Elisabeth, Joshua, Carrie, Jonathan and Rachel; seven great grandchildren, Lydia, Stephanie, John, Michael, Charlotte, Genevieve and Meredith.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitation will also be held at Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 10 a.m. until a Celebration of the Witness to the Resurrection Service will be held at 11 a.m., with Rev. Laurie Armstrong and Rev. Dr. Stephen Long officiating.
