Yoho, Deloris Marie "Irene", 78 of Glencoe, Ohio died Friday, July 24, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.

She was born at Glencoe on December 16, 1930 a daughter of the late Charles E. Neitzelt and Mary Margaret Pierce Neitzelt.

Irene was retired from the St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools as a cafeteria worker, a life long member of the Glencoe United Methodist Church until it?s closing and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church at St. Clairsville. She was a 50 year member of the Glencoe American Legion Auxiliary, a 30 year member of the Glencoe Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and was one of the founding members of the Glencoe Cemetery Association.

Irene expressed her appreciation for the privilege and joy of raising her children, enjoying her friends and living her life in the small community of Glencoe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Newell C. Saffell in April of 1979, by her second husband, Dale C. Yoho in September of 1999 and a brother, Ronald James Neitzelt.

She is survived by three sons, N. Edward Saffell of Orlando, FL, James A. (Connie) Saffell of Glencoe and Kenneth L. (Kim) Saffell of St. Clairsville; stepchildren, Wendy (Bob) Davis of Newark, OH, Bryan (Jill) Yoho of Belmont and Glenn (Audra) Yoho of Bellaire; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Tiffany, Jason and Brittany; 6 step grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Brianna, Kirsten, Jimmy and Chase; brothers, Charles Edward (Lois) Neitzelt of Wheeling and Marvin E. Neitzelt of St. Clairsville; a special niece, Darlene (Jack) Boston.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
