Irene A. Pulay, 98, of St. Clairsville, died November 18, 2019 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center.

She was born September 4, 1921 in Boggs Run, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Gideon and Sara Dennis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Pulay; a sister, Betty Chie; and daughter-in-law, Anita Pulay.

Surviving are her two sons, Thomas J. (Carol) Pulay of St. Clairsville and David M. (Pam) Pulay of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kirk (Lauren) Pulay of Bellville, Michigan and Alana Pulay of Pullman, Washington; and a great granddaughter, Ellee Pulay.

Irene was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the St. Clairsville Senior Center and a Methodist by faith.

At Irene's request, there will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Holly Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
