Irene Haught, 101 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Washington County, Ohio on October 18, 1902 a daughter of the late William and Hattie McFarland Athey.

Irene was a homemaker and attended the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Haught; a daughter Betty; a brother, William Athey and a sister, Lois Dawson.

Surviving are her sons Lowell (Camilla) Haught of Proctor, W.Va. And Laverne (Phyllis) Haught of Alledonia; a brother Robert Athey of Proctor, W.Va.; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg with Rev. Michelle Lucarelli and Rev. Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Armstrong Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church or the Armstrong Cemetery Association.
