Iola Mae Childers, 92 of Neffs, Ohio died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at her home. She was born in St. Joe on September 18, 1910. A daughter of the late James Merwood Childers and Flora Kratz Childers.

She was a retired clerk from the former JC Penney Store in Bellaire, a former employee of Hanna Coal at Willow Grove and a member of the Coalbrook Presbyterian Church in Neffs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Childers and Dorothy Curtin; and a brother, Alden Childers.

Surviving are three sisters, Virginia Childers, Mary Childers, and Anna Belle Arcishewsky all of Neffs; a brother, James K. Childers of Neffs; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation
