Gatten, Inez Parker, 89 of Ogilbee Road, Centerville, Ohio died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Trinity East in Steubenville.

She was born at Centerville on June 10, 1918 a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Walters Parker.

Inez was a homemaker and a member of the Bend Fork Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley H. Gatten; a brother Charles Parker and a sister, Dorothy Kinney.

She is survived by 4 sons, Raymond Allen (Marie) Gatten of Rittman, OH; Glenn A. (Shirley) Gatten of Alamogordo, NM; Donald D. (Dorothy) Gatten of Belmont, OH and Stanley J. "Junior" (Sandra) Gatten of Gahanna, Ohio; 1 daughter, Barbara E. Price of Wooster, Ohio; 1 brother, Denzil Eugene (Stella) Parker of Wadsworth, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday at the Bend Fork Christian Church from noon to time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Ed Fellabaum officiating. Burial will follow in the Bend Fork Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, Trinity East or East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care Unit.
