Imogene B. Burgy, 91, of Weatherford, TX., formerly of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 31, 1931, in Mineral Wells, WV., a daughter of the late Aceaid and Blanche Ruble Boggs-Byard.

Imogene was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. Burgy in 1977; two sons, Frederick Burgy and Keith Burgy; a son-in-law, Michael Burt; her stepfather, Patrick Byard; two stepbrothers; three stepsisters.

Surviving are her children, Janet Burt of Cambridge, OH., Vicki (Ralph) Bauerle of Bethleham, WV., Timothy (Linda) Burgy of Byesville, OH., and Rick (Candy) Burgy of Weatherford, TX; a sister, Violet Adams of St. Clairsville; a daughter-in-law, Anna Burgy of Zanesville, OH; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH at the convenience of the family with Rev. Rod Kasler officiating.
