Ida Saffell's Obituary
Saffell, Ida Josephine, 60 of Verona , Kentucky died Monday, December 15, 2008 at St. Elizabeth South in Edgewood , KY.
A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to all whom met her. She was born February 26, 1948 in Guernsey County , Ohio a daughter of the late Martin and Gertrude Brownfield Ochsenbine.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, William Walter Cody Saffell; sister, Pearl Deem and brother, Gerald Ochsenbine.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Lee Saffell; her children Harry Lee Saffell, Jr. of Kentucky , Charles Matthew Saffell of Gallatin Co., KY, Brian Saffell of Sweetwater, TN, Terry Lee Saffell of Burlington, KY and Helen Louise Saffell Algeri of Massillon, OH, brothers, Bill Ochsenbine and Martin Ochsenbine; sisters, Shirley Phaul, Lois Trevino and Ellen Baumgardner; 16 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from Noon until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Darla Schnegg officiating. Burial will follow in the Armstrong Cemetery at Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
