Ida Elvira Burzenski, 82, of Pittsburgh, PA, died July 14, 2023, in UPMC Canterbury Place.

She was born September 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Louis Joseph Caretti and Lillian Mellott Caretti.

Ida was a graduate of Powhatan High School and a retired employee of Delphi Packard Electric, a division of GM. She was a Christian by faith and has been awaiting the day she would be with her son again.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael P. Burzenski; a son Michael L. Burzenski; a sister, Lila Caretti; and four brothers, Louis, Vernon, Ronald, and Delmas Caretti.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Theresa Cecil and a granddaughter, Katherine Cecil; nieces and nephews.

Honoring Ida's wishes there will be no public services. The burial was in Powhatan Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
