Hubert Dale Phillips, 83 went home to Lord on May 17, 2007.
He was born August 27, 1923 in Palestine, West Virginia, a son of the late Warren Phillips and Mattie Wright Phillips.
Hubie was employed at Belco Works in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He had many friends at work and at his place of residence. Hubie was a fun loving person who liked to joke around with others. He enjoyed various types of music, books on tape and trips to the library. He enjoyed being outside in the sunshine. Hubie will be deeply missed by those who have cared for him.
Friends will be received on Tuesday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial follows in Oak View Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
