Obituary
Hilma E. Bethel, age 94, of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born on February 13, 1912 in Holloway, Ohio, daughter of the late Albert M. and Martha Fritter Hoskinson.
Hilma was a member of Holloway United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Bethel; a son, Donald Wayne Bethel; and two sisters, Effie Helter and Duanna Hoskinson.
Surviving are two sons, Alan L. Bethel and his wife Carole of Atlanta, Georgia and Gary L. Bethel and his wife Cathy of Indianapolis, Indiana; a daughter, Betty J. Kourkounakis of St. Clairsville; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Flushing.
