Helen W. Williams, 88, of Shadyside, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born June 8, 1916 at Wegee in Shadyside, Ohio.

Helen was a lifelong resident of Wegee, a homemaker, mother, grandma, and grandma great, and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Shadyside. She enjoyed her many close friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Theisa Heath Schell; her husband, George W. Williams; a son, H. David Williams; an infant son, Richard L. Williams; and three grandsons, Steven Rusty Williams, Jeffrey Elliott Brown and Scott Joseph Cruise.

Helen is survived by her children, Mrs. James (Jean) Brown, Russell (Carol) Williams, Mrs. Sandra Davis, Mrs. Charles (Linda) Brown all of Shadyside, Ohio, Mrs. Roger (Lois) Martin of Bellaire and Steve (Cindy) Williams of Shadyside; three sisters, Hazel Wells of Jacobsburg, Frances Miller of Belpre, Ohio and Edith Brown of Parkersburg, West Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Williams of Indiana and Viola Farrier of Shadyside; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, where services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dennis Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Centerville, Ohio.
