Wenckowski, Helen, 85 of Neffs, Ohio died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire.

She was born at Benwood, WV on June 21, 1922 a daughter of the late Teodor and Josephine Slowikowski Ruminski.

Helen was a homemaker, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Neffs, the Catholic Women?s Club and the St. Francis Society.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Casimir Wenckowski and brothers Joseph, Chester and Leo Ruminski.

She is survived by her daughters; Jeanette (William) Whitehouse of Seattle, WA, Doris (Dale) Barnes of Willow Grove and Valerie (Curtis) Patterson of Neffs; a brother, Stanley Ruminski of St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Mitchell Whitehouse, Deanne DeBenon, Gary Barnes, Gina Horan, Sharon Pastor and Aaron and Daniel Patterson; 8 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Wake service at 4:15 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Gene Mullett the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Bellaire.
