Helen Visnic, 94, of Milford, Ohio, formerly of Shadyside, Ohio, died January 18, 2019 at the Arbors of Milford.

She was born November 24, 1924 in Blaine, Ohio, daughter of the late Pete and Mary Divich Visnic.

Helen was a loving sister, aunt and friend and was an excellent cook and baker and she was a dedicated caretaker of her sister, Anna. She was a member of Jacobsburg Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam and Mike Visnic; sisters, Kate Rusin and Anna Smith and a nephew, Oscar Allen Smith Jr.

Surviving are her nieces, Cheryl Skukan and Patty Tomlinson; two great nieces, Bobbi Skukan Combs and Beth Skukan; four great nephews, Chad Smith, Josh Smith, Rich Bunting and Brian Skukan; great-great niece and nephew, Maddie and Miles Skukan.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at Powhatan Cemetery Chapel in Powhatan Point, Ohio with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio.
