Helen "Sis" Parker, 91, of Centerville, Ohio died May 27, 2014 in Barnesville Health Care Center.

She was born in Dilles Bottom, Ohio on November 5, 1922, daughter of the late George Albert Doty and Lavina Palmer Doty.

Sis was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Scott Parker; her stepmother, Virginia Boston Doty; 9 brothers, Albert, Henry, Floyd, Larry, Ted, Donald and Lawrence Doty, Amos Armann and Skinner Palmer; 3 sisters, Nancy Harding, Edna Mae Graham and Frances Parker.

Surviving are 4 sons, Gary Parker, Scotty (Lynn) Parker, Joey (Lissa) Parker and Marty (Colleen) Parker; 2 daughters, Ramona (Art) LaFollett and Sandi Parker; 4 stepchildren, Bonnie (Bill) Doak, Marvin "Bud" (Gay) Parker, Jimmy (Pat) Parker and Jerry Parker; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, James and Walter Doty; 3 sisters, Mary Caretti, Doris Peppard and Janie Sparks.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Centerville.
