Helen Virginia Paden, 82, of St. Clairsville, died Friday, May 7, 2004 at her home. She was born on May 11, 1921 at Chester , West Virginia , daughter of the late Virgil and Amanda M. Nutter Logston.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Ryder.

Surviving are her husband, Orion C. Paden; a daughter, Luana M. Fader and her husband James of St. Clairsville; three grandchildren, Debbie Hayba of Dayton, Ohio, Roger Fader of Triadelphia, West Virginia and Michael Fader of St. Clairsville; four great grandchildren, Tyler James Fader, Emily Julia Fader, Ivy Elizabeth Fader and Sage Abigail Fader; two sisters, Mildred Leslie of Crescent, Ohio and Mary Chaponis of Miami, Florida; two brothers, Glen Logston of Springfield, Missouri and Roy Logston of Huntsville, Alabama.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor David Masters officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
