Obituary
MIERNIK, Helen L., 91, of Belmont Centerville Rd., Belmont, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born in Bellaire, Ohio, on June 26, 1920, daughter of the late Eli and Mary Zatezalo Munjas.
Helen was a homemaker and member of Concord Presbyterian Church and the Smith Township Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Miernik; four brothers, George, Charles, Sam and Pete Munjas; a sister, Mildred Corbett.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Donald) Greenlee of Hickory, North Carolina and Carolyn (Mike) Flowers of Jacobsburg; five grandchildren, Michael Flowers, Miki Maxwell, Summer Sustik, Emily Yoanidis and Margy Butterfield; eleven great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Diane Jefchak officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
