Helen Victoria McGilton, 81, of Belmont, Ohio died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born December 20, 1925 in Fairpoint, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Sall.

Helen was a former employee of the Lotus Glass Company of Barnesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. McGilton; a grandson, Kenneth T. McGilton; and eight brothers, Stanley, Henry, Joseph, Edward, John, Walter, Andrew and Thomas; and two sisters, Anna and Elizabeth.

Surviving are her husband, Francis T. "Termite" McGilton; two sons, Michael "Mick" McGilton and his wife Joan of Barnesville and Nicholas McGilton of Adena; a daughter, Victoria Townson and her husband Larry of Powhatan Point, Ohio; a sister, Catherine Ryan of New Port Richey, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Janet McGilton; former daughter-in-law, Georgette McGilton; 12 grandchildren, Richard, Candice, Tracy, Crystal, Eric, Carla, Christopher, Gabriel, Misty, Michael, Nicholas Jr. and Joseph; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Father Christopher Foxhoven officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
