Helen Johnson, 88, of Lafferty, died Sunday, December 8, 2002 at Crestview Health Care Center, St. Clairsville. She was born February 5, 1914 at Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Alfred and Carrie Repan Hennebert.

She was a retired nurses aid from the Belmont County Home at St. Clairsville and she enjoyed fishing, cooking and bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Spano; two sisters, Anna Mae VanFossen and Nettie Kantsis; and a brother, Walter Hennebert.

Surviving are her husband, Marion E. Johnson; three daughters, Dorothy Spano of Lafferty, Bonnie Copeland of St. Clairsville and Sandy Feeney of Lafayette, IN; two sons, Charles Smith and Robert Hartman both of Lafayette, IN; three sisters, Rose Marie Ramsay of Jacobsburg, Betty Pearl of Shadyside and Katie Gorshe of Centerville; two brothers, Alfred Hennebert of Oco and Chuck Hennebert of Columbus, OH; 14 grand-children; 21 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Kelley officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
