FIUTEM, Helen E., 83, of Maynard, Ohio, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born September 6, 1927 in Maynard, a daughter of the late, Joseph and Mary Garczyk.

Helen was a homemaker, a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard and a member of the Catholic Womens Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Fiutem; five brothers, John, Andy, Joe, Casmir and Walter Garczyk; and two sisters, Mary Pfeiffer and Amelia Uhazy.

Surviving are her son, David (Sue) Fiutem of Barnesville, Ohio; a grandson, Matthew Fiutem of Barnesville and a step grandson, Courtney (Jill) Price of Delaware, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with a Vigil Service at 3 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church in Maynard with Father Thomas Graven as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
