Helen Virginia Fleming Comas, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Petersen Hospital, Wheeling.
She was born August 23, 1934 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Carl and Violet Placer Fleming.
Helen retired in 2006 from Hallmark at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brookside. She was an avid Precious Moments and Beanie Baby collector.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael E. Comas; and eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Charles Edward Comas Sr.; three children, Charlene Ellen (James) Busch, Charles Edward (Teresa) Comas Jr., and Lt. Col. Theodoros C. Koumoundouros M.D., PhD; step-daughter, Robin Jeanne (Bob) Jones; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Fine Comas; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of Services at 8 p.m. with Pastor Karen Torrez officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Belmont County Memorial Park.
