Helen L. Bowen, 86, of St. Clairsville, OH died Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home.  She was born April 14, 1935 in Washington Township, Belmont County, a daughter of the late Ralph and Bertha Wade Snyder.

Helen was a former nurses aid at the former Oakview Nursing Home, St. Clairsville and a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Bowen in 1977; a son, Paul Bowen; an infant sister, Mary Snyder; two brothers, Bud Snyder and Star Snyder.

Surviving are her children, Marilyn Bowen of St. Clairsville, Leona Rosenthal of Niles, MI., Ralph Bowen of Safety Harbor, FL., Cherryie (Greg) Wisynaski of Port Matilda, PA., Lisa (Mike) Kazmirski of St. Clairsville; a sister, Inez; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

As per her wishes, no visitation or services will be held.
