Hazel A. Klug, 76 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 in Richmond, Va. after a brief illness.
She was born August 20, 1929 in Cresop, W.Va. the daughter of the late James Pritchard and Sadie Liz (Jarrell) Peery.
She was a former employee of Bobbie Brooks Sewing Factory in Bellaire and a Catholic by faith.
Hazel died at peace with her life and looking forward to joining in heaven her beloved husband Edward T. Klug, her daughters Sandra Ramon and Alice Klug and granddaughter Sara Hairfield.
Hazel spent her last days with family members at her side. True to her kind spirit, Hazel continued to laugh, share memories and light up the eyes of visiting relatives and friends.
Caring for her large family and extended family throughout her life, Hazel profoundly touched the lives of all who knew her. In her last hours on earth, Hazel expressed happiness for having such a "unique and wonderful life."
She is survived by her children Edward T. Klug, Jr. and wife Dona of Independence, Mo.; Barbara Swiney and husband William of Powhatan, Va.; Dorothy Kennedy and husband Michael of Powhatan, Va.; Joseph E. Klug and life partner Misty Ratcliff of Jacobsburg, Ohio. Devoted grandchildren Eric Klug, Tonia Klug, Scott Hairfield and Logan Klug. Great granddaughter Erica Klug. Numerous siblings, other family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Father Gary Zalenski officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobsburg Cemetery.
