Obituary
Saffell, Harry Lee Sr., 67 of Verona, Kentucky died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home.
He was born March 4, 1945 in Belmont County, Ohio, a son of the late Mildred Brooks Rushin.
Harry was a retired mine electrician and mechanic, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Ochsenbine Saffell; a grandson, William Walter Cody Saffell.
Surviving are his children, Harry Lee Saffell, Jr. of Latonia, KY., Chuck Saffell of Glencoe, KY., Helen Saffell of Walton, KY., Brian Saffell of Sparta, KY., Terry Saffell of Burlington, KY., and Lisa Griffin Liebenderfer of Walton, KY.; a brother, Charles Saffell of Beallsville, Ohio; a sister, Alice St.Clair of Verona, KY.; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Wayne Clark officiating.
Burial follows in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
Full military honors will be provided by the Belmont County Council of American Legions at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
