Harry Walter Arnold Sr., age 62, of St. Clairsville died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. He was born in Huntington, Pennsylvania on August 26, 1943, son of the late Charles Melvin Arnold Sr. and Frances Mary Hall Arnold.

Harry was retired from the Saginaw Mining Company; a retired manager for Bel-Claire Gardens Apartments and retired employee of Lowe?s all in St. Clairsville. He was a U. S. Navy and U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Marine Corps League. Harry was a former Chief and EMT of the Maynard Community Volunteer Fire Dept. and former Maynard Little League Baseball coach.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a son, SSgt. Richard Lynn "Rik" Morgan Jr. and a grandson, Zachary Mayhugh.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Green Arnold; two sons, Robert C. (Taylor) Morgan of Kansas City, Missouri, Hank (Amanda) Arnold of Flushing; two daughters, Anita (Tony) Kalman of Urichsville, Ohio and Bonita (Shawn) Girty of Bethesda; daughter-in-law, Diana Morgan of Maynard; fourteen grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte Underkoffer of Camp Hill, PA and Dawn Dougal of Altoona, PA; and a brother, Charlie Arnold of Camp Hill, PA; special sister-in-law, Linda (Paul) Kyanko and special brother-in-law, Bill (Karen) Green.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. with Chaplain (Col) Charles Flesher officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove. There will be a dinner at the Maynard PNA Lodge following the services on Friday.
