Harold C. Trouten, 92, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Blaine, died Friday, June 29, 2007 at his home.
He was born April 26, 1915 in Lansing, Ohio, a son of the late Alexander and Rebecca Barnhouse Trouten.
Harold was a retired electrician from Lorain Coal and Dock Company in Blaine. He was a member of the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and a member of the former All Saints Catholic Church in Blaine. Harold was an avid Sportsman and Trapper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Miller Trouten and a sister, Olivetta Farr.
Surviving are his sons, David Trouten of St. Clairsville and Harold Trouten of Edgewood, Kentucky; a daughter, Jean Trouten of Blaine; five grandchildren, David, Christian, Mark, Elise and Craig; and ten great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Vigil Service scheduled for 7:45 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
