Harold P. Trimble, 85 of Shadyside, Ohio died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Shadyside Care Center.
He was born at Key, Ohio on November 13, 1919 a son of the late Harry and Harriett Patterson Trimble.
Harold was a retired carpenter with Carpenter?s Local 3 at Wheeling, a member and elder of Bethel Presbyterian Church at Key, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Powhatan Point and American Legion Post 521 at Shadyside. He also served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Abel Trimble, a brother Ralph Trimble, a sister Kay Schroeder and son-in-law, Richard Skapik.
He is survived by his son Paul "Randy" Trimble of Shadyside; daughters Judith (Peter) Rumskey of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania and Margaret "Peggy" Skapik of Shadyside; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kurt Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
