Baker, Harold Jacob "Bud", 77 of Lockwood Run Rd., Shadyside, Ohio died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire.
He was born December 29, 1932 in Powhatan Point, a son of the late, Lee "Bill" Baker and Nancy Doty Baker.
Bud was a retired employee of North American Coal Company # 3 Mine and a U.S. Air Force and Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Della Hranko and Mabel "Cookie" Brunner.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice Gallaher Baker; four children, Bruce (Kathy) Baker of Moundsville, Harold "Rod" (Darla) Baker of Jacobsburg, Karen (Gary) Eikleberry of Shadyside, Rhonda Prisner of Wheeling; six brothers, Halbert "Fuzz" (Tina) Baker, Francis "Boe" Baker, Kennard (Gladys) Baker, Harry (Linda) Baker, Aaron "Tim" Baker and Floyd "Sam" Baker; four sisters, Wanda Mihalek, Velma (Harold "Red") Gallaher, Naomi Mihalek, and Gladys Harlan; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
