Obituary
Harold Kenneth Brown, 81 of Cash Ridge formerly of Turkey Point Rd., Shadyside, Ohio died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his home.
He was born April 10, 1935 in Shadyside, a son of the late Kenneth R. Brown and Iris Elizabeth Burge Brown.
Harold was a retired coal miner from North American Coal Company's No. 5 mine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Pedelose Brown; a brother, Charles F. Brown; a sister, Vivian McVay.
Surviving are three children, Thomas H. (Sue) Brown of Cash Ridge, John Michael (Nick Glavaris) Brown of St. Clairsville, and Grace Elizabeth Leach of Martins Ferry; a brother, Ronald R. (Becky) Brown of Shadyside; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.
A private interment will be held in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
