BAKER, Halbert L. "FUZZ", 88, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his daughter's home in Alledonia.
He was born on January 15, 1924 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, son of the late Lee "Bill" and Nancy Doty Baker.
Fuzz was a retired foreman from Y. & O. Coal Company's Allison Mine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faustina "Tina" Reyes Baker; sisters, Mabel "Cookie" Brunner and Della Hranko; two brothers, Harold J. "Bud" Baker, Aaron "Tim" Baker.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Baker of Powhatan Point; two daughters, Barb (Ralph) Welch of Alledonia and Anita (Tom) Davis of Bethesda; four brothers, Francis "Boe" Baker, Kennard (Gladys) Baker, Harry (Linda) Baker and Floyd "Sam" (Mary) Baker; four sisters, Wanda Mihalek, Velma (Harold "Red") Gallaher, Naomi Mihalek, and Gladys Harlan; five grandchildren, Tabitha, Misty, Carissa, Benjamin and Franklin; and a great grandson, Jonathan.
There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
