Gregory C. Gazda, 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died May 22, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born August 11, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Carl J. and Emilia Tryba Gazda.

Greg was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel's Martins Ferry Plant. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.  He was a loving husband, father and pappy who enjoyed hunting and fishing and collecting model trains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marion.

Surviving are his loving wife of 28 years, Colleen A. Perry Gazda; two daughters, Megan L. Wagner and Greta L. (Jason) Gazda-Roe; two grandchildren, Charlee and Jorja J. Roe; a brother, Carl (Cathy) Gazda; two sisters, Carol (Rick) Berry and Teresa DeBertrand; brother-in-law, Ernest DeBertrand; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Monday, May 27 ^th from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:30 a.m. with Father Matthew Gossett as celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
