Glenn L. Johnson, 73 of Maple Avenue, St. Clairsville died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.
He was born at St. Clairsville on August 3, 1930 a son of Ethel Ault Johnson and the late Walter William Johnson.
Glenn retired after 30 years of service at St. Clair Lumber. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of American Legion Post 159 at St. Clairsville and served on the Bike Patrol for the St. Clairsville Bicycle Trail. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and a protestant by faith.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Johnson and sisters, Betty Porter and Louise Mihalic.
Surviving are his wife, Ann L. Stewart Johnson; his children, Debbie (Dave) Hillman of Martins Ferry; Jeff (Michelle) Johnson and Kim (Jim) Fiutem all of St. Clairsville; his mother, Ethel Johnson of St. Clairsville; a brother Robert Johnson of St. Clairsville; a sister, Virginia Sayre of St. Clairsville; grandchildren Jimmy, Amy, Joey, Josh, Rosie, Jake, Brandon and Shaylah and 6 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
