Glen Alan Vargo, Sr, 61 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born February 9, 1959 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Richard Vargo and Sharon Cordery Vargo Williams.

Glen was a retired Belmont County Sheriff's Deputy and currently employed by G-Cor Automotive Corp. in Columbus, Ohio and a member of Armstrong Mills Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Vargo; and a sister, Sherry Ward.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred "Millie" Saffell Vargo; two children, Glen (Melanie) Vargo, Jr. and Tisha (Bob) Kanopsic both of St. Clairsville; brothers, Anthony Vargo of Texas, Mike Vargo of Woodsfield, and Richard Vargo of Pataskala, Ohio; a sister, Dawn Stebbins of Sistersville; four grandchildren, Michael, Paige, Samara, and Bailey.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic masks and social distancing will be required during the visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Wayne Clark officiating.
