Yemich, Gertrude "Trudy" Secrest of Flushing, Ohio died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at OVMC in Wheeling.
She was born February 27, 1927 in New Athens, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clyde and Lillie Henderson Secrest.
Trudy was a homemaker and Presbyterian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Poocho" Yemich.
Surviving are her three daughters, Christine McGuire of Sandiego, CA., Nancy (Richard) Lucas of Bethesda, OH, Amy (Randall) Twarog of Flushing, OH; seven grandchildren, Racquel McGuire, Franci (Lucas) Doty, Richard Joseph Lucas, Lisa Lucas, Randi (Twarog) Roski, Jennifer (Twarog) Schmitt, and Aaron Twarog; fourteen great grandchildren, Alexandria, Kayla, Madison, and Julia Doty, Caleb, Nathan, and Sophia Lucas, Brook Roski, Jonathan and Alyssa Schmitt, Miranda, Angel, Harold, and Nina McGuire; two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Alice Romshak, Martha Dale, and Sue (Robert) McCue; a brother, Clyde (Judy) Secrest.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Jon Little officiating. Burial follows in Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
