Gertrude Ann Wasko, 98, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died April 13, 2022, in Belmont Manor.

She was born December 2, 1923, in Lunen, Germany, a daughter of the late Frank Beuth and Minnie Fischer Beuth.

Gertrude was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a retired employee from the State Cleaners and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wasko Sr., a brother, Al Beuth; a sister, Dorothy Flowers and a special niece, Karen.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Patricia (David) Myers McGary; a son, William (Jean) Wasko Jr; a brother, William (Judy) Beuth; three grandchildren, Scott Myers, Michael (Pria) Myers, and Mandy (Rob) Matties; five great grandchildren, Caden (Emily), Shelby, and Mason Myers, Kaylee and Braden Matties; special nieces, Cheryl, Charlene and Lori; and many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service at Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville, Ohio on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
