Obituary
Gertrude Virginia Wallace, 94 formerly of Bethel Lane, St.Clairsville died Monday, November 1, 2004 at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.
She was born January 15, 1910 in St.Clairsville. A daughter of the late George W. Hughes and Minnie Steed Hughes.
Gertrude was a member of the Thoburn United Methodist Church, and American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 159 in St.Clairsville and Bridgeport Chapter No. 452 O.E.S.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wallace; daughter, Donna Frakowski; son-in-law, Lester Young; brothers, Adam and Bert Hughes.
Surviving are two daughters, Bea Young of Logan, Ohio and Cindy Ferris of Oceanside, CA.; nine grandchildren, Buzz Frakowski, Melodee Budzik, Sissy Antolak, Shari Schorr, Sandy Nolte, Becky Brooks, John Ferris, Adam Ferris, and Angie Winters; 21 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St.Clairsville where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Bruce Livingstone officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St.Clairsville.
American Legion Auxiliary will conduct services at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
