Obituary
Geraldine Matis Ostrander, 85, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV.
She was born January 18, 1930 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Richard McEndree and Ethel G. Bumgardner McEndree.
She was a retired beautician from Gerry's Beauty Shop in Morristown, and a member of East Richland Friends Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George Matis; and six stepchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Jess B. Ostrander; daughters, Carma (Bill) Thompson of Morristown, and Cathy (Gary) Bethel of Jacksonville, FL; stepdaughter, Melissa (Frank) Sadlowski of Shadyside; 5 grandsons, Scott (Heather) Thompson, Aaron (Nicole) Thompson, Keith (Stephanie) Bethel, Brian Bethel, and Jason (Christy) Bethel; 6 great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.
Burial follows in Union Cemetery, Morristown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place, 308 Mt. St. Joseph Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
