Geraldine Josephine "Gerrie" Mansuy, 76, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died December 12, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was born May 4, 1946, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late William Thomas McCort and Florence Gallagher McCort.

Gerrie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a former beautician and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Caroline Hrabak, Aldretta "Dee" Mengon, Janine Bizanovich, and Florence Reirdon; and four brothers, Abie, Bill, Art, and Doug McCort.

Gerrie is survived by her husband, USAF Ret. Major John E. Mansuy; a son, USAF Ret. Col. John L. Mansuy of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Carrie Mansuy Fisher of Centerville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Lila and Tessa Fisher and Ian and Kaitlyn Mansuy; four sisters, Therese (Norge) Santin of Akron, OH, Anne Riesbeck of Gahanna, OH, Regina Flaherty of Columbus, OH, and Kay (Lloyd) Mallett of Columbus, OH; a brother, Gerald "Butch" (Maryann Schumacher) McCort of Lloydsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Celebrated at the Chapel of Mary and Joseph at Wheeling University, Wheeling, WV on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father Praveen Kumar officiating.
