Hill, Geraldine Louise "Gerri", 62 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her home.
She was born September 7, 1949 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late Charles Duffy and Nancy Lee Smith Duffy.
Gerri was a retired employee of TRW Electronics in California, a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1968, and a Christian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Benavidez; a sister, Barbara Whitacre.
Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Lynn Rice (Rudy) Avila of St. Clairsville; six brothers and sisters, Carol Lee (Jack) Trimer of Peoria, AZ., Donna (Tom) Smith of Wheeling, Charles "Butch" (Gail) Duffy of Bridgeport, Sandy (Jim) Ruggles of Stow, Ohio, Kathy (Darryl) Conley of Dayton, Ohio, and Jack (Janet) Duffy of Myrtle Beach, SC.; seven grandchildren, Sharon Vanessa Avila, Alexander Avila, Christopher Scott McIntyre, Sonny Daniel Avila, Julia Anita Avila, Margie Amanda Avila, and Alicia Nichole Avila; a great grandson, Mason Elijah Schmidt; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
According to Gerri's wishes there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family
