Lantz, Geraldine Jerry Weekley of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, July 25, 2011 at the House of Hearts in St. Clairsville.

She was born November 14, 1917 in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas J. Weekley and Anna C. Taylor Weekley.

Jerry was a 1935 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a lifelong member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, a 50 year member of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority and Bridgeport Chapter # 452 Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hatcher Lantz with whom she owned and operated Lantz Dairy; a son, John Drew Jack Lantz; infant brother, Donald Weekley; a sister, LaNelle Snedden.

Surviving are a daughter, Suzie (Bill) Ralston of Boulder City, NV.; daughter-in-law, Hilda Lantz of St. Clairsville; a brother, John D. Weekley of Spring City, TN; four grandchildren, John (Deb) Lantz of Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara Hennis of Columbus, OH, Ann (Pat) Heischman of Grove City, OH, and William L. (Maria) Ralston of Abingdon, MD; five great grandsons, Zachary and Tyler Heischman, John Michael Hennis, and Spencer and Trey Ralston.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday at Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
