Gerald Wesley Taylor, 77, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died December 4, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born in Jacobsburg, June 24, 1943, a son of the late Thomas W. and Agnes Kotson Taylor.

Jerry was a retired employee of AEP Mitchell Plant and a farmer.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Church Alive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Mann.

Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy L. Clegg Taylor; two sons, Doug Taylor and Jason (Amanda) Taylor; two brothers, Gary (Kate) Taylor and Randy (Jeanette) Taylor; two sisters, Joyce Mann and Sandra (Max) Candiotty; nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during the visitation at Church Alive, 52561 Key-Bellaire Rd., Bellaire, Ohio on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted at the church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
