Gerald “Chick” Dennis McCreary, 75, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Park Health Center, St. Clairsville. He was born August 5, 1950, in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Donald Eugene McCreary and Maxine Ann Wilkinson McCreary.

Chick was a retired toolmaker for Mull Machine. He was a graduate of Warwood High School and West Liberty State College where he was a member of Delta Kai Fraternity.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Lynette Isiminger McCreary, two sons, Aric (Kristin) McCreary and Justin (Alicia) McCreary; three grandchildren, Annalynn, Adam and Harper McCreary; and two step-grandchildren, Corrie and Jessica Hamer.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at the St. Clairsville Church of Christ on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm with Justin McCreary and Steve McIntire co-officiating.
