Obituary
NORRIS, Georgia Opal Young, 82, of Scio, Ohio died December 10, 2012 in Bowerston Hills Nursing Home.
She was born on June 25, 1930 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late George Nathan Young and Ruby Opal Wine Young.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Durr Norris; a brother, Lawrence Young; a sister, Nancy Putney and a great grandson, Brandon Allen Morckel.
Surviving are her five sons, Lloyd Richard Norris of Scio, Johnny Daryl (Shirley) Norris of Scio, Thomas Perry (Kathy) Norris of Byron, Georgia, Scott (Faith) Norris of Scio and David William (Lori) Norris of Barnhill; a daughter, Victoria L. (George) Tubaugh of Scio; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
