Obituary

George Ticarich Jr., 74, of St. Clairsville, died Monday, December 11, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in West Bellaire, Ohio on November 17, 1932, son of the late George Ticarich Sr. and Barbara Stepanovich Ticarich.

George was retired from the Clevite Factory in Lansing and Phillips Stamping in Bellaire. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War; he was a member of the American Legion Post # 52 in Bellaire; and a member of the Ionic Lodge # 438 F. & A.M. at Bellaire.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Kay Henzler Ticarich; three daughters, Tammy (Don) Crosby of Bellaire, Jody (Sam) Peroni of St. Clairsville and Cindy (Mike) Bacon of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Mildred Hotlosz of Bellaire and Donna Ticarich of Bellaire; a brother, Joseph Ticarich of Bellaire; seven grandchildren, Britany and Ryan Crosby, Austin, Shane and Blake Peroni and Landan and Dakota Bacon; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of services at 7:30 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with Pastor Ron Morgan officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Clairsville.

Military Honor Services will be held by the American Legion Post #52 and Belmont County Council of American Legions at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
