George William Barthlow Jr., 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died March 8, 2022, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

He was born September 29, 1962, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Pauletta Johnson Barthlow Esposito and the late George William Barthlow.

George was an expeditor for Load One based in Michigan. He was a member of the Friendship Lodge #89 Free & Accepted Masons in Barnesville, Ohio. His hobbies included: guns, television, living adventurously, and skydiving.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Randolph Barthlow.

George is survived by his mother, Pauletta Esposito; his son, Daniel Alexander Barthlow, and a sister, Media L. Carpenter (Glen). He was loved by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray Benesh officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
