Schumacher, Genevieve E. (O?Donnell), 93, of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in Forest Hill Nursing Home.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 10, 1916 a daughter of the late Elmer O?Donnell and Gertrude Bodemann O?Donnell.

Genevieve was a homemaker; a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville; a member of the Catholic Women?s Club; the St. Francis Society and the AARP.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence S. Schumacher; a brother, Monsignor Harold O?Donnell; a sister, Eleanor Campbell; a son-in-law, David Perko.

She is survived by five children, Harold (Nancy) Schumacher of Land O? Lakes, Florida, Michael (Chris) Schumacher of St. Clairsville, John (Linda) Schumacher of Harrisville, Ohio, Susan Perko of Logan, Ohio and Mary Ann (Gerald) McCort of Lloydsville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, Rose Voscavitch, Joe, Mike and Mark Schumacher, Dan Perko, Debra Bowling, Kim McCort, Kelly Chambers, Kristin Duvall, Andrew Schumacher, Suzanne Bradley, Kyle Roskovich and Angel Schumacher; 11 great grandchildren, Joshua, Balea, Michael, Kayla, Marcus, Jonathan, Justin, Jason, Elena, Ella and Maggie; and a dear friend, Marie Risden.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 3 to 5 to 7 to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 4:45 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated by Father Thomas Chillog on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary?s Catholic Church, St. Clairsville. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
