White, Geneva Elizabeth, 86, of Flushing, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Ohio Valley Medical Center.

She was born on June 14, 1923 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late John George Lasch and Frances Cleveland Blatchley Lasch.

She was retired from the former Hillview Nursing Home in Flushing and the former Belmont County Home in St. Clairsville and a member of the Flushing Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Dixon White and a sister, Henrietta Kuhn.

Surviving are three sons, John L. (Jean) White of Flushing, Dwayne Edward (Bonnie) White of New Athens, and Eugene S. (Debbie) White of Seneca, South Carolina; a daughter, Henrietta J. White of Flushing; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter expected in July.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m., with Earl Bailey and Loran Dace officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens.
