Obituary
Gene Kocher, 72, formerly of ResCare's Pineview 1A group home in Belmont, Ohio died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire.
He was born December 31, 1943 in Belmont, Ohio, a son of the late Charles R. Kocher and Mary Blake Kocher.
Gene was formerly employed at Belco Works.
He loved going to the grocery store, cooking, and eating.
He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Ewan Kocher; two sisters, Mildred Fraley and Betty Caldwell; two brothers, Clifford and George Kocher.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews; and his guardian and friend, Angel Kulpa of St. Clairsville.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from noon until 1 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.
