Obituary

Gary Lee Frazier, 78, of Hendrysburg, died July 23, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born March 25, 1944, in Martins Ferry. He was a son of the late Frank Kendzora, Jean Alderman Frazier, and William Frazier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Frazier, brother-in-law, Rick Hughes, and sister-in-law, Linda Frazier.

Gary is survived by his son, Matthew Frazier; a sister, Myra Hughes; two brothers, Linley Frazier and Allen (Steve) Frazier; nieces; nephews; and dog, Polly.

Gary was a former construction worker and truck driver. He was a 1962 graduate of St. Clairsville H.S.; a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War; a member of the VFW Post 5356; a member of the Belmont Better Hunting and Fishing Club; and a member of Kirkwood Lodge #446 F.&A.M. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing, racing super late model cars and shooting competitively.

Visitation will be at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Assn. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
